“Dragonfly Ranch is an oasis in Capay Valley. Arriel (R-E-el) communicates well and promptly and is super helpful. The Coleman camper is in tip top shape, well appointed, and Arriel gave me a great orientation to help me get settled in. My first day I took a dunk in the pool and then fell asleep in the rocking swing/couch for 2 hours! Very relaxed, which was the plan. Later that night I stayed outside and watched as the stars came out and the full moon passed overhead, listening to the birds, frogs and crickets. Breakfast is included and Arriel is a great cook who addresses her visitors dietary needs and uses all locally sourced ingredients. Watch out for the muffins and honey butter, very addicting. For people like me, who are a little shy around farm animals, Dragonfly offers hands on orientation and hangouts and even though I said I couldn't do it, I ended walking a horse around the paddock and getting nuzzled by a sweet little goat. Arriel is amazing the way she brought me gently and seamlessly into the ranch experience. I came to do an artists retreat, to get away and isolate. But I experienced so much more that contributed to my wellbeing.”
